Team Bride

I already know who my bridesmaids are going to be (they don't all know yet) and I haven't officially asked them, but Ive got them covered and started kitting them out already. Primark you strike again with the goods. I love these cute shorts and vest top, PJ sets from Primarnie. Great for the night before the wedding and obvs have everyone look the part for the homemade photoshoot we will no doubt create pre wedding. A fab cost of just £4.50 each. I love the personalised hangers for each bridesmaid for their dresses, but they can be stupidly expensive, so I will be getting creative and opting for the bank account friendly DIY option. I love these wooden white hangers with Rose Gold £3 for 5 Hangers (One for me and one for each of the girls) My Bride Tribe are also in for a treat when it comes to the Hen Party. Obvs I'm already throwing ideas around and buying bits for the girls/ myself (soz not soz, its the super organiser in me) Goodie bags for the girls...

Venues, Venues and more Venues.

Finding the perfect spot for your big day is so hard. We have decided we want to go for a Barn style venue (I say we, I have and hubby to be just goes along with it); so at least that narrows it down, but it doesn't make the process any easier. We have a approx. 40 miles between where mine and my fiancés family live, so the scope for locations is pretty large. Do we go close to us? close to my mum? do we go in the middle? Well it all depends on the venue I guess, either way people are going to have to travel, my family live all over the place, London, Spain, Yorkshire, Birmingham, Ireland- you get the picture. I need to remember this is our day and we need to do what's right for us and not what's best for everyone else (Plus if we are paying all this money I want a bloody good day) It may sound stupid but I was so un-oblivious to all the rules with marriage and venues, like I've found the most amazing band I want but a lot of venues do...

Bargain Hunting Bride

Now if you’re anything like me (a super organised perfectionist whose brain has to incorporate every minor little detail into planning) and you’re on a budget then I’m your Gal. I have literally found some Major Bargains! My go to places right now is Aldi, I mean it, Go Right Now! You won’t be disappointed. Aldi specialbuys have been amazing! An unlikely place you would consider to go to for wedding bits, but don't knock it until you've popped in store or online. The collection is called 'We Do' and was launched Thursday 17th May, you can buy some bits online but unfortunately you will have to visit a local store for most of the collection. I went in store 3 days ago and there was still loads of stuff left so its not too late! Best thing I managed to get my hands on was by far their wedding planner- The best one I have come across yet and here's the best part it cost me £4.99!! (a little bit annoying having spent £25 on another one)   ...

Who is she?

This is the bit where I get to bore you to death with my life story, don’t worry I’ll spare you the pain; I'll keep it short and sweet.   I recently became engaged on Valentine’s Day this year (2018) my hubby to be totally kept it hush and I wasn’t expecting it at all. I got to meet a new level of his romantic side because he done an absolutely fabulous job with everything; from the long weekend in Paris, all our trip excursions and of course (obvs bias) my beautiful ring.            My Beautiful Ring and the amazing view from the apartment we stayed in, in Paris and me and my fiancé in Mexico (because who doesn't look better with a tan)     Unfortunately for us we haven't won the lotto yet, were still trying to 'Make it' in our careers (currently just faking it) and we don't have parents in the financial position to pay for our Big Day. So the day we say 'I Do' is looking like summe...
